Test Drive The New Honda CR-Z in Milton Keynes, Slough, Beaconsfield & Oxford

The latest Honda CR-Z has been given a facelift with a focus not only on looks, but also on performance. The addition of elongated lines, a new front bumper, stylish 17-inch alloys, and a choice of new colours (including Aurora Violet and Energetic Yellow) have enhanced the sporty look of the car and reflect the added agility of the drive. The interior has been updated to coincide with this sporty new look; the addition of racing details and electric-blue dashboard lights gives the CR-Z an exiting new feel.

The 1.5-litre petrol engine that powers the CR-Z has been fine-tuned to produce 121PS, considerably more than the standard model in the range. For extra power, Honda has added a Lithium-Ion battery that adds an extra 20PS, making for an impressive combined output of 137PS, as well as significantly increased acceleration when the battery is even half charged. The addition of this battery means that fuel consumption and emission levels are not sacrificed for power and remain low at 116g/km.

Each of the available package options (Sport, Sport-T, GT and GT-T) contains a host of Honda’s latest technology designed to improve performance, entertain and ensure safety at all times.
