Honda success in the What Car? 2017 Reliability Survey

The Honda Jazz has come out on top in What Car? magazine's Reliability Survey by winning the Most Reliable Small Car award.

From the survey that was published in the December edition of Britain’s leading consumer automotive magazine, car owners were asked a number of questions to help deduce the reliability of their vehicles which were classified into 14 groups, including:

  • Battery
  • Bodywork
  • Brakes
  • Engine electrics
  • Exhaust
  • Exterior lights
  • Fuel system
  • Gearbox/clutch
  • Interior trim
  • Non-engine electrics
  • Steering suspension

Following the completion of the survey, the magazine reported: “Not one Honda Jazz owner who completed the survey reported any faults with their car, giving the little Japanese hatchback a perfect reliability score.”

To further confirm manufacturer’s build quality, the Honda Civic hatchback and Tourer also scored highly in the family cars category by achieving a 94.5% reliability rating.

Phil Webb, Head of Cars at Honda UK, said: “This is a fantastic result for the Jazz and only goes to further demonstrate the build quality that Honda is famed for! To then also further score highly with the Civic hatchback and Tourer simply reaffirms Honda as one of the most trusted and reliable brands.”
