The new ix20 aims to be a little different from typical city cars. It incorporates Hyundai’s latest design signature, called Fluidic Sculpture, which swaps angular shapes for smooth curves. There are two models in the ix20 range - SE and Premium – and neither is lacking in any of the essentials or leading-edge equipment.
SE models ride on 16-inch alloy wheels as standard which aid the car’s stability and heighten its attraction. Inside you can stay fully connected using the Bluetooth® interface with voice recognition. Intelligent Stop & Go (ISG) improves the car’s efficiency, and like the other mentioned features, it is added at no extra cost.
Premium differs by equipping the ix20 with privacy glass at the rear plus a panoramic glass sunroof that tilts and slides. It shares the same engine selection as SE which comprises 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrols alongside the 1.6-litre CRDi with Blue Drive technology. And if you need any further evidence that the ix20 is a worthwhile purchase, simply consider its five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
