Safe travel in the new RX with the new package from Lexus

The new Lexus RX features a striking design with advanced technologies that helps the driver to travel safe, including the Panoramic View Monitor. The feature offers a 360-degree view, by using an array of cameras that gives an all-around view of the vehicle’s location and provides a bird’s eye view of everything that’s nearby. It helps with parking in tight spaces, avoiding obstacles and drive on rough surfaces, helping you avoid bumps, scrapes and frayed tempers.

The Panoramic View Monitor works along with the Lexus Park Assist sensors and monitor, Blind Sport Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. All these features are part of the advanced driver assistance systems, called Lexus Safety System+. This system is known to be most in-depth package yet featured in the model and includes up to 12 different elements. Lexus’s goal is to not only give the extra safety to the passengers but to also contribute to the road safety generally.

At the heart of the Lexus Safety System + is the Pre-Crash Safety system with Pre-Crash Brake Assist. These two help with detecting vehicles and pedestrians on the road ahead. The Lane Departure Alert and Lane-Keeping Assist recognise when the model is deviating from the lane on the highway and help the driver steer safely back to its correct path. The Automatic High Beam automatically switches the headlights between high and low beam when it detects oncoming traffic and vehicles ahead. The Traffic Sign Recognition helps the driver to be aware of the speed limits when driving, lane closures and other important information, by using a front camera that sends information to the 8-inch display.

The RX is available to order now, with customer deliveries from January.
