The Motability Scheme assists disabled people in obtaining a new car by using their government-funded Motability allowances. Set up to enable those who receive the Higher Mobility Component (HMC) of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or the War Pensioners’ Motability Supplements to purchase a new car, we’re on hand to help disabled people become more mobile at the lowest possible cost by helping provide them with affordable transport.
Motability customers can exchange their allowance for a worry-free mobility package with Johnsons Mazda that could include:
- Car
- Insurance
- Servicing
- Tyres
- Breakdown Cover
- Adaptations and wheelchair accessible vehicles are also available.
No matter how old you are, or if you receive the HMC off the DLA, then you or someone else in the family, or a guardian can be nominated as drivers.
