The new Toyota Prius is in a class of its own when it comes to hybrid technology. Incorporating the well-known Hybrid Synergy Drive, the latest Prius is the third-generation model and continues to set the standard for what a hybrid vehicle should deliver.

A number measures have been taken to ensure the efficiency of the Prius. The body shape is streamlined to maximise the aerodynamics of the car for better performance and lowering fuel consumption, while the solar-powered ventilation system uses the sun to power an electric fan to keep the internal cabin temperature down.

The new Toyota Prius is capable of 72.4mpg, giving coverage of 715 miles on a single tank of fuel. It also has three different modes of driving: electric-only, ECO, and POWER for a more dynamic drive with increased throttle response. Along with seven SRS airbags and a five-star Euro NCAP rating, the Toyota Prius is even at the forefront of safety.

With a heads-up display, you can view both the eco-drive monitoring and navigation without taking your eyes off the road. In an effort to remove inconvenience from parking, the Toyota Prius has the Intelligent Parking Assistant for effortless manoeuvring into any form of bay, including parallel and reverse.
