Volkswagen Motability Scheme
Volkswagen has been a key contributor to the Motability Scheme since its introduction in 1977. Johnsons Volkswagen is pleased to work with its partner in providing excellent deals to disabled customers throughout the West Midlands and Staffordshire.
The scheme, a joint venture between the government, car manufacturers, charities, insurers and banks, has made a huge difference to the lives of those suffering from physical disabilities. If you’re a recipient of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement, you are entitled to use your state benefits to pay for a new car of your choice (higher-specification models may require an advance payment).
New Motability vehicles come on a three-year lease with road tax, insurance, servicing and roadside assistance cover included, as well as any necessary adaptations. What’s more, even if you cannot drive, you will be able to nominate one or two people to do the driving for you.
The four Johnsons Volkswagen dealerships in Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield and Tamworth all offer the services of trained Motability specialists. Contact us today to find out more about our Motability offers.
