Discover the new Tiguan

Since its introduction in 2007, the Tiguan has become one of the most popular choices in the Volkswagen line-up. With its combination of style, space and practicality, it is easy to see why the Tiguan has been such a successful contender in the competitive SUV class.

The bold use of prominent lines gives a distinctive look to the new Volkswagen Tiguan. The strong lines of the front grille and lower air intake are echoed in the assertive sculpting across the bonnet and sides. The Tiguan has a lower stance than its predecessor and is also longer, sitting on a longer wheelbase.

The trim range begins with the S, then the SE, SE Nav, SEL, and at the top the R-Line.

All trim levels have alloy wheels, starting with 17-inch Montana alloys for the S trim and increasing in size for higher trim levels.

Beneath the bonnet

The Tiguan is available with a range of petrol and diesel engines. These include a 2.0-litre turbo petrol edition, and a 2.0-litre twin turbo diesel. There is also a 1.4-litre TSI engine. The 2.0-litre TDI 113bhp gives you the best fuel efficiency, as high as 60.1mpg on the S trim.

CO2 emissions start at 125g/km. You can choose between two-wheel drive and 4Motion four-wheel drive versions with adjustable drive modes so you can select the most suitable mode for the driving conditions.

Inside the cabin

The interior is both stylish and practical, with high-quality finishes and plenty of features to ensure everyone is comfortable on long journeys. Storage compartments are positioned conveniently around the cabin, as well as a chilled glovebox. Boot capacity is ample for stowing all the family’s luggage, and 40:20:40 split rear seats can be folded down to create more space for bigger items. Manual air conditioning is fitted on the S trim, while triple-zone climate control is fitted on all other models, offering enhanced comfort as more individual temperature preferences can be accommodated. Rain-sensitive wipers and automatic headlights are fitted across the range. SEL and R-Line models have the added luxury of a panoramic glass sunroof with tilt and slide feature.
