100,000th Volkswagen Scirocco Built
On Friday 6th August 2010, The Volkswagen plant in Portugal rolled out its 100,000th Volkswagen Scirocco, this being the third generation Volkswagen Scirocco R 2.0 TSI with a Rising Blue Metallic exterior with a Titan Black interior.
Andreas Hinrichs, Autoeuropa Plant Manager, said: "The Scirocco is one of the most important cars that we produce. For myself personally, it was a moving moment."
The Volkswagen Scirocco has once again become one of the brand’s most important vehicles and you don’t need to look any further than the building of the 100,000th model of the third-generation vehicle to prove that the Volkswagen Scirocco has once again become a hot commodity from people interested in purchasing a Volkswagen.
