Considered Volvo’s technological revolution, the Swedish model combines a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine over the front axle with an electric motor sitting over the rear axle, giving a dynamic performance with excellent efficiency and environmental credentials. The tailgate is electronically operated by having the key with you and wave your foot beneath the rear bumper to open or close it. Other functions of the model can be controlled via sophisticated voice control system.
The interior features a nine-inch touchscreen information

offering the usability and satisfaction of a tablet-style interface. As standard,
the model comes with Volvo On Call app, a feature that will allow you to
remotely lock and unlock the car, check if the doors and windows are closed and
access the car’s trip computer information. If the stolen, the app will the car’s
GPS to track it and if involved in an accident it will alert the emergency
services. The Volvo XC90 Hybrid also includes the advanced technology Sensus
Connect (features internet connectivity and access to a range of web apps such
as Rdio, Stitcher, TuneIn, LocalSearch and Yelp).
The model is also designed to keep you and your family safe at any time. It features two world-first safety technologies: automatic emergency braking and run-off road protection. As standard, the model also comes with cyclist detection, and front collision warning with fully automatic emergency braking.
