Volvo ranked one behind John Lewis for customer service.
A six monthly survey by the Institute of Customer Service has put car brand Volvo as the fifth highest of all UK organisations.
Volvo Scored 88.2 out of 100 and came closely behind 4th ranked John Lewis who scored 88.5.
The only other car brand to feature within the top 10 was Skoda, coming 10th with 86.5.
The top three performers were ASOS with 91.6, then Amazon 90.6 and First Direct with 89.
The ICS reported that in the automotive sector 31% of customers rated service much more importance than price.
Automotive companies whose satisfaction scores are higher than the sector average or 80.9 have an average of 49% of customers who have recommended them, compared to 30% for companies who score below the sector average for customer satisfaction
