Overall purpose:
To produce precise monthly management accounts with supporting schedules and reconciliations.
To embrace all financial procedures and policies and, most importantly, be responsible for protecting company assets especially cash, debtors and stocks.
Meeting manufacturer deadlines with the timely production of the composites and subsequent analysis.
To have a direct input into the control and reduction of costs throughout the Honda & Hyundai dealerships, specifically overheads.

To establish good working relationships with our accounts team, head office staff and site management teams.The Dealership Accountant is expected to proactively assist on-site management with the understanding of accounts produced.

To strictly adhere to company policy and procedures over capital expenditure limits and all other expense areas which have quantified limits of authority

Personal Profile
Qualifications
Ideally degree educated or equivalent
Professional
Ideally CIMA or ACCA qualified, however QBE also required.
Additional Skills
Highly computer literate in Excel and Word
Experience of Kerridge DMS – Rev8 & Drive
Man-management skills
Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
General Experience
3+ years accountant experience within the motor trade.
