Louise Baker - Heading up the team

When you started working for the group: April 2002 (originally working out Ventrua Park which was bought out by Johnsons at the beginning of 2009)

Main day to day responsibilities: Managing, coaching and developing the team. Looking after Manufacturer and Leasing Company relationships, and getting involved in anything else that might need my attention!

A bit about me: I have worked in the motor trade since I was 20 and I still love coming to work every single day. I have a fabulous family and I am blessed with some really amazing friends. A weekend without some social event scheduled is a very rare thing and that is just fine with me! I don't really have any hobbies and I just hate exercise, but I love to go for a decent walk with the girls on a Sunday morning for a bit of a catch up.

Random Fact: When I was thirteen I was taken to the school disco in Norman Wisdom's Rolls Royce (for those of you old enough to know who he was).

Favourite Place (and why if it’s relevant): Anywhere by water and, it doesn't matter where; the sea, a river, a canal lake or waterfall! It goes without saying that sitting in the sunshine with a glass of something makes it even better!

I always keep my eye out for that special deal that we are all looking for!

Main day to day responsibilities: Working out of the Johnson's Volkswagen showroom in Solihull, I am responsible for growing local business opportunities and sales in the Solihull area for all 12 brands offered through Johnson's Cars

A bit about me: This is my first job in sales, and my first job in the motor industry, and I’m loving every minute of it! I also have a second employment as a crew commander for Hereford and Worcester fire and rescue service at Redditch fire station. I cover 80 hours a week on call, which takes up much of my spare time as you can imagine. This has been an ambition of mine since first school though, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Outside of work I have a close group of friends who I enjoy spending my days off with, playing golf and drinking ale.

Random Fact: I can’t burp!

Favourite Place (and why if it’s relevant): Montego Bay, Jamaica

James Graigner - Sales Team

When you started working for the group: Started Working for Johnsons cars VW Birmingham in June 2009 then moved to Johnsons Fleet Services in 2011

Main day to day responsibilities: I work alongside a certain Toniya Smith (Toniya not Taniya) and together we look after the Johnsons Broker Network. Daily tasks involve quoting, finance proposals, availability’s and if I do my job correctly “processing orders” which of course keeps the Boss happy!! But most important of all, I am always on the lookout for the best Contract Hire rates available so that everyone; the best cars, on the best deals!!

A bit about me: I am married and have 4 children Lucas, Jay, Riley and Lara. As you can see my time away from work is also very busy. For my sins I am a Wolverhampton Wanderers FC fan with my first ever game being the “Sherpa Van” Trophy Final in 1988 at Wembley against Burnley. My other big passion is Darts!! I have been playing for 4 years now and would like to think I am getting better and have recently hit an 11 darter in a 501 match.

Matthew Hart - Sales Team

When you started working for the group: I started when we were Ventura Park Volkswagen in June 2003 as a retail Sales Person, since then I did several roles in the retail department before joining the fleet team in January 2007.

Main day to day responsibilities:I spend most of my day dealing with smaller business, arranging business leases and helping business owners and fleet managers select the best vehicles for their fleet. I also deal with lots of our income enquiries from our on-line Marketing. With almost 20 years spent in the motor trade, 13 of them here I also end up being the “go to guy” for the rest if the office for anything car or funding related.

A bit about me: I am a great fan of the outdoors and spend most weekend’s away caravanning all over the country and across France in the summer with my family. We like to combine our caravanning with some walking and geocaching and if we end up in a nice country pub all the better.

Random Fact: Last year I helped arrange a blind driving day with my local Institute of Advanced Motorists group to give blind and partially sighted people the chance to drive a car around a race track!

Favourite Place (and why if it’s relevant): Glencoe in the Highlands of Scotland. Great walking in the mountains with the most awe-inspiring scenery you will ever see.

Main day to day responsibilities:I have recently become the new Business Development Manager for Johnsons, supplying to local business and also down the personal route too. Being a BDM is not just about selling the car its about sourcing the best possible option for the customer and to give them the customer experience they deserve.

A bit about me: I have a very beautiful girlfriend who I love and pretty much do everything with, we love a good holiday usually to relax but we have recently been to USA and was probably the best thing we have done so are going back again this year. When I am not busy in work I am certainly busy outside of it. I have a small holding near my home where I have to look after Pigs, Lambs, Chickens and Ducks. There is always plenty to be done on ‘the farm’ but it’s great to be outdoors and with the animals. When I am not at the farm I coach Redditch United U13s Football team which is more difficult the looking after the animals! We had a great 14/15 season finishing 3 rd but I will now be taking on my own Redditch United team and playing in the Midland Junior Prem against top academy teams. I basically love doing anything and everything, never one to turn down an opportunity. I am into all sports, films (Mainly Superhero ones), music (Michael Buble) and food

Random Fact: I have a small collection of pocket watches!

Favourite Place (and why if it’s relevant): This one is tough as I have been to a lot of beautiful places, but I would have to say San Francisco in America. Was just amazing to be somewhere that you have seen/destroyed in movies. Lively, Friendly and awesome!

I also like F1, great food and red wine.

Random Fact: I once lined up against Bruce Grobbelaar and Alan Hansen whilst playing for Chester City FC reserves.

A bit about me: I love my holidays, and have been very lucky to have experienced some magical places around the world, but I also love being at home, with my husband Kev, and pottering around our garden. I also love cooking and experimenting with new ideas. My Mum and Uncle introduced me to rock music in my very early teens – something that became a bit of an obsession, especially where David Coverdale and Whitesnake were concerned – that has never changed! Planet Rock is always playing in my car!

Random Fact:For my Mum’s 60th she wanted to do a parasail, so holidaying in the Maldives, we all agreed to. My Mum went first, then my Step Dad, Kev and finally me. Really not liking the experience one little bit, I suddenly realised something was wrong. The boat had ran out of fuel, leaving me to land in the deep blue and having to be rescued! Pretty scary as I’m not a strong swimmer!
