Spider-Man™: Across the Spider-Verse comes to a cinema near you from 2nd June. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man™ is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most…

The prize draw campaign runs from 29/05/23 to 30/06/23 inclusive. All test drives must be completed within this period, before the participating retailers’ closing time on 30/06/23. Those driving must have a full valid UK driving licence.

Spider-Man™ test drive draw Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter

The Promoter is Hyundai Motor UK Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 05446560) whose registered office is at Birchwood Building, Springfield Drive, Leatherhead KT22 7LP.

2. The Prize Draw

The title of the Prize Draw is ‘Hyundai’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Test Drive Prize Draw’.

3. The Prize

3.1. The “Prize” is as follows, courtesy of Sony Pictures and provided by Element London Ltd (the “Prize Provider”): round-trip economy / coach flights (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees and duties) from the capital city of the country in which the Prize winner (the “Winner”) is resident to New York City, New York, USA. Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available. Flight itinerary will be determined by the Prize Provider at its sole discretion. Accommodation is in one quadruple occupancy room for two adults and two children under 16. Trip must include a Saturday night stay. Accommodation does not include any meals, incidentals, gratuities, telephone calls, or any other personal expenses incurred during the trip, which will be the responsibility of the Winner. A credit card for incidentals may be requested by the hotel at check-in and therefore either the Winner or one guest must possess and travel with a valid credit card. Accommodation will be selected by the Prize Provider at its sole discretion. Prize also includes a Private Parkour Masterclass, a Virtual Reality Experience, and Private Graffiti and Street Art Tour of Brooklyn and tickets to an Immersive Exhibition in a NYC Skyscraper.

3.2. The Prize is for up to two adults and two children under 16, all of whom must travel at the same time, from the same point of origin and with the same itinerary. At least one traveller must be aged 21 or over. Where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission.

3.3. The Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification and all travel must be completed within that time. Winners must contact the Prize Provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure. Once booked no changes to the itinerary will be permitted. The Prize cannot be taken over Christmas, New Year or Public Holidays in the Prize destination or country of departure.

3.4. The Winner is responsible for obtaining any other documentation required for travel to and entry to the Prize destination. All travellers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on the date of travel. Any necessary visas or insurance are the responsibility of the Winner and guests.

3.5. The Prize excludes domestic ground transfers, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the Prize.

3.6. The Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. No cash alternative is available.

3.7. The Prize inclusions are subject to availability. Where any of the stated inclusions are unavailable, the Prize Provider will offer suitable alternatives of similar value. If the Winner is unable to participate in any of the stated activities then the Prize Provider will offer suitable alternatives of similar value. Alternative activities will be determined by the Prize Provider at its sole discretion.

3.8. The private parkour class will be tailored to participant’s ability; For the VR experience, the maximum weight limited for all machines is 250lbs/113kg.

3.9. All tours and experiences will be conducted in English. If the Winner chooses to forfeit any activities, then no alternatives will be provided.

4. The Runners-up Prize

4.1. A private screening of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse at a cinema of the winner’s from the following major UK exhibitors including VUE, Cineworld, ODEON, Everyman, Picturehouse, Showcase or Empire. The screening can be attended by 10 guests of the winner’s selection which must be shared prior to the screening taking place. The date of the screening will be subject to cinema availability but where possible booked on the winner’s preferred dates.

5. How to enter

5.1. The Prize Draw will run from 00.01am on 29/05/23 (the “Opening Date”) to 23.59am on 30/06/23 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.

5.2. All entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the closing date. All entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified.

5.3. By submitting a Prize Draw entry, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Conditions”) and confirm that all information submitted is true, accurate and complete. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any and all entrants and may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any entrant that fails to satisfy the eligibility requirements. Entrants shall at all times act in good faith towards the Promoter and the Prize Draw.

5.4. Entry into the Prize Draw is free (except for any applicable data usage charges).

5.5. In order to enter the Prize Draw and to be considered for the Prize, entrants must test drive a Hyundai IONIQ 5 or IONIQ 6 at a participating Hyundai retailer. After the test drive has taken place, entrants must scan the QR code provided by the retailer should they wish to enter the Prize Draw. The entrant must enter all required details for their entry to be placed into the Prize Draw. Only one competition entry per person allowed. Test drive must be completed before entry.

5.6. The Promoter will not accept:

1. (a) responsibility for Prize Draw entries that are lost, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
2. (b) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Draw.
   5.7. By submitting a Prize Draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these Conditions.5.8. Please contact 0800 981 981 if you have any problems entering the Prize Draw.5.9. The Prize Draw winner will be selected at random from all qualifying entrants.6. Eligibility6.1. The Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 25 years or above possessing a full UK passport or UK citizenship passport. Entrants will NOT be eligible to take part in the Prize Draw if they are:
   • (a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
   • (b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Prize Draw or its administration; or
   • (c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) or (b) above. [Do you also want to exclude employees of dealers?]
   6.2. In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize.6.3. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw. In addition, the Promoter will require you to produce your full UK passport or UK citizenship passport (and that of your guests).6.4. The Promoter will not accept Prize Draw entries that are:
   • (a) automatically generated by computer;
   • (b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
   • (c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with.
   6.5. There is a limit of one entry to the Prize Draw per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.6.6. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.7. Winners7.1. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.7.2. The Promoter will contact the Prize Winner with the contact details provided on the test drive form by which the Winner entered the Prize Draw. The Promoter will not be responsible for the inability of a Prize Winner to take up the Prize.7.3. The Promoter will send the name and county of the Prize Winner to anyone who writes within one month after the Closing Date of the Prize Draw requesting details of the Winner and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to the address set out in Condition 1.8. Claiming the Prize8.1. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winner. If the Winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not confirmed their ability to accept the winning tickets within 48 hours of being contacted by the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the entries that were received before the Closing Date.9. Limitation of Liability9.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or their guests, or accept any liability for any loss, damage, fines, personal injury, imprisonment or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.10. Data Protection and Intellectual Property Rights10.1. The Promoter will only process your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Notice: hyundai.co.uk/legal/privacy10.2. By participating and accepting the winning tickets, you acknowledge and agree to grant the Promoter, including any of its agents, the right to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or subsequently developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you for the purpose of promoting the Prize Draw, including any outcome, and promoting any products manufactured, distributed or supplied by the Promoter.10.3. The Promoter shall be the absolute owner of any and all photographs, film, video and other materials (and all rights therein, including the copyright) produced pursuant to these Conditions.11. General11.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Prize Draw.11.2. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Prize Draw or these Conditions without notice where reasonably necessary for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw.11.3 The Prize Draw, together with these Conditions, is governed by the laws of England & Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.11.4 The Promoter UK holds no responsibility for the actions of the Prize Winner during their trip.11.5.
