Honda released the next step in the renewal of its European car range at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The next generation Civic hatchback features a significant step from previous versions of Honda’s core European model, focusing on elegant design and excellent dynamics. The exterior features a sharp and striking interpretation of Honda’s family face. LED headlights and daytime running lights flow from beneath the boldly sculpted bonne into accentuated wheel arches. The profile of the model comes with a swage line that includes front and rear door handles before reaching in the distinctive C-shaped LED rear lights. The car’s dynamic is enhanced by the second, lower character line that expands from behind the front wheels up through the doors and meets the rear wheel arches.
The Clarity Fuel Cell made its European Debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2016, and it’s the most improved technology that Honda currently owns. The entire fuel cell stack and drivetrain system will be under the hood of the car. This is achieved thanks to Honda’s clever way of minimising the space used by the powertrain, performing a level of interior space that is comparable to fossil fuelled sedans. The technology offers direct response, great driving experience and quite cabin, all forming a delightful combination. You can choose out of two driving modes: the ‘Normal’ mode gives a balance between fuel economy and driving performance, while ‘Sport’ prioritises a more responsive acceleration feeling.
The Honda CR-V 2016 Black Edition features modern interior and exterior designs, giving it a sporty and premium touch. The SUV will be available on 4WD models only, with a choice of 2-litre i-VTEC petrol or 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel engines. The exterior comes with running boards, a tailgate spoiler, 19” black alloys, a gloss black front grille and skid plates on the front and rear. The inside comes with full leather interior, contrasting stitching and an embossed Black Edition logo. The premium carpet mats again with the Black Edition logo complement the luxurious feel of the cabin.
The Jazz “keenlight” Concept focuses on customers who are interested for more prominence on style, using cutting-edge design elements and accessories in a custom copper colour called ‘keenlight’. The exterior comes with a keenlight-coloured roof spoiler, mirror caps, front grille and tailgate decoration. To complete the exterior, Honda adds unique 15” keenlight finished alloys. The interior also features the keenlight theme on steering wheel, dashboard, and doorstep garnishes. Other accessories include customised floor carpets and leather upholstery.
The Civic 1.4 S Limited Edition features extra specifications with no additional cost including colour-coded front bumper, rear skirt cover and wheel arches. You can also choose between 16 and 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior comes with the Honda Connect infotainment system.
