During 2000, a very difficult year for the motor industry, the Group acquired its first Toyota/Lexus Franchise with dealerships in Huddersfield, Halifax, Liverpool and Wirrel along with Lexus in Liverpool.
There followed a period of consolidation before we opended a new Honda dealership in Kidlington in 2001, Honda Beaconsfield in 2002 and Honda Dunstable in 2004. The recent acquisition of VW Birmingham brings the number of dealerships in the Group to 13.
During this whole time, the Company has invested over £6m in new builds and refurbishment in order to meet manufacturers' standards and the rules with regards to Block Exemption.
Recently the Company was listed as being 93rd in teh AM100 with a turnover of £94m.
After five years, Johnsons Cars Ltd. is an established professional motor dealer group with a management team that has a wealth of experience in the motor industry.
