Volkswagen has unveiled its newest edition to the family - with the exciting new compact 4x4 Tiguan.
We will also be offering a free prize draw to win a Tiguan for a week, plus Strelli products and a chance to win a holiday to South Africa. Competition winners to be announced shortly.
We offered drinks and canapes upon arrival and guests were able to view the new model while ‘Strelli’ showcased their latest range of fashion on our catwalk.
Designed to offer the best of all worlds, the new Tiguan is compact whilst offering a truly spacious interior, coupled with dynamic driving performance, both on and off-road. The new Tiguan comes with two high power engines which are low in fuel consumption: the innovative 1.4 TSI (with twin charger) and 150 PS powers the petrol version while the diesel version is being driven by a 2.0 TDI engine with 140 PS.
The new Tiguan’s ‘face’ and side profile are immediately recognisable as those of a Volkswagen, and yet they are different from all existing models in the range. At the rear, the lights are integrated into the shoulder section similar to those on the Eos and Passat, while the steeply sloping tailgate extends right down to the bumpers, giving the new Tiguan an unmistakably SUV design.
Maintaining the ‘baby Touareg’ appearance, the new Tiguan makes a distinctive styling statement. At 4.4 metres long, 1.85 m wide and 1.69 m high, it is very similar in size to the Touran compact MPV (4.4 m, 1.8 m, 1.6 m).
The new Tiguan is an all-rounder which is agile and comfortable to drive, extremely practical and full of ground-breaking technology. No other car combines so many different virtues.
