The LS is now offered as a range rather than a single model. The LS 460 is available in SE and SE-L grades, and will be joined by the LS 600h, the first petrol-electric hybrid power car in the segment.

The new sleek design and prominent features gives the LS 460 a stronger, more muscular appearance, and the quality has been raised throughout.

The cabin reflects the ground-breaking advanced safety features incorportated in the new LS. 

The LS 460 is powered by a new 4,608cc V8 engine, every aspect of the engine's operation has been re-thought from scratch.  The engine give a class-leading performance and fuel efficientcy, producing 81.4bhp per litre. Maximum output is 6,400rpm and maximum torque 4,100rpm.

In spite of these performance figures, the engine is also one of the most economical amount V8's with a capacity of more than four litres, returning 25.4mpg in combined cycle driving and carbon dioxide emissions of 261g/km.
