The Toyota C-HR made its world debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, giving Toyota a new presence in the crossover market. The model portrays the Akio Toyota’s determination to allow excellent stylistic freedom and promote engineering creativity, resulting in striking designs and enhanced driving pleasure. The C-HR features a unique character that delivers a fresh take in the increasingly popular crossover segment.
The model comes with the latest Toyota 1.8-litre hybrid system, resulting a driving experience that matches a level of efficiency unseen in the crossover division. Based on Chief Engineer Hiroyuki Koba’s vision, “Response, Linearity and Consistency”, the driving dynamics have been benchmarked on the precision and control experienced at the wheel of a modern C-segment hatchback, thanks to the refinement of the TNGA platform and it low centre of gravity. The driving experience can be enjoyed when flowing through busy city traffic but also on the open road.
The exterior features a body with a diamond architectural theme with wheel arches projecting at all four corners to highlight t hewn crossover’s strength and rigidity. The front comes with upper grille that flows from the Toyota emblem into the sleek, aggressive wing extremities of the headlamp clusters and wraps around the front corners of the vehicle, three-dimensional bumper that’s integrated with the wheel flairs and the trapezoidal lower grille that reinforces the C-HR’s wide.
