The new Prius Plug-in made its world debut at the 2016 New York International Auto Show, and it comes with drastic improvements in its EV performance, from driving range to power and amazing speed. The new model features responsive, intuitive, quiet and refined hybrid system like the latest generation Prius.
The profile has a chiselled display and edgy character lines and comes with a more road-hugging look and a lower centre of gravity. The new model is 165mm longer, 15mm wider and sits 20mm lower to ground. The aerodynamic design combined with the low overall weight of its high-strength bodyshell contributes towards the excellent low energy consumption. Other features include the “double bubble” tailgate glass and an automatic grille shutter that closes automatically when airflow is not needed to cool the radiator. A unique lighting signature is confirmed, that is created out of four-lamp LED projector headlights and LED tail lamps.
The interior is all about the “peace of mind” design that comes with engaging driving position, high comfort levels and four-seat layout, built around a full-length centre console. The centre cluster features a floating design supported by the concealed rear mounting. You can navigate the functions and manage the audio by using the eight-inch touchscreen. The quality extends even further with the sound-insulating laminated windscreen and front door glazing to create an exceptionally quiet and calm cabin environment.
The model includes advanced technologies such as: LED projector headlights with vehicle speed-sensitive adaptive beam, S-Flow automatic air conditioning system, heat pump with gas injection and Simple Intelligent Parking Assist. Other standard features include: wireless phone charging tray, colour head-up display and Toyota Safety Sense. The safety package will come with Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Autonomous Emergency Braking: Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Full-Speed Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic High Beam headlight operation, Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic.
New model can run further and faster in all-electric EV mode – speeds up to 84mph and range of up to 31 miles. The estimated fuel consumption is 202mpg, which is the best fuel efficiency of any plug-in hybrid currently on the market with 32g/km CO2 emissions.

We do not charge you a fee for our services. we will typically receive commission from whichever lender we introduce you to (either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow).
Unless we consider it to be inappropriate given your personal circumstances, for certain vehicles e.g. New, our approach is to introduce you to the lender who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account interest rates, residual valuations (where applicable) and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, or the vehicle is not one that we would normally place with them we will introduce you to other lenders on our panel. The lender we introduce you to and available rates will depend upon a number of factors including: the vehicle, your personal circumstances and the likelihood of a lender to accept an application based on information provided.
Lenders typically pay a commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions; some lenders may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you would like to know the amount of any remuneration we have received from the finance provider, please ask us.
