As we go into 2019, we will be celebrating 20 years of the Toyota Yaris, a family favourite that we’ve all come to love. Through two decades and three generations, this model has become Toyota’s bestselling model across Europe.
To celebrate this, Toyota are paying tribute by introducing a new Y20 grade to its 2019 model range – this will launch with an initial production run of 1,998 to mark the year the Yaris was revealed at the Paris Motor Show. This will be known as the Launch Edition Y20 and will come with gold paintwork, similar to that which was found on the first-ever Yaris, but with a little bit of a contemporary twist in the form of a bi-tone grey roof.
After this we will see the full production of the Y20 models that will sit at the heart of the 2019 Yaris range. These too will have a bi-tone finish, which will couple either silver, white or black bodywork colours with the dark grey roof, as seen on the Launch Edition.
Inside you can expect to find a complementary dark grey theme, which applies to the centre console, steering wheel inserts and the new chequer pattern fabric upholstery. A number of other elements have been added to enhance the further quality and feel of this vehicle, these include: satin chrome air vents, audio speaker and meter surrounds plus gear knob trim and black carpet mats with silver edging and Y20 badging on the instrument panel.
This isn’t the only new thing that we can expect to see for the 2019 Yaris model, it will also be getting a new multimedia system that’s in tune with your desire to keep connected at all times. The new package will enable easy smartphone integration and safe access to useful, popular apps while on the move – all of which you’ll be able to access from a simple central touchscreen.

We do not charge you a fee for our services. we will typically receive commission from whichever lender we introduce you to (either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow).
Unless we consider it to be inappropriate given your personal circumstances, for certain vehicles e.g. New, our approach is to introduce you to the lender who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account interest rates, residual valuations (where applicable) and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, or the vehicle is not one that we would normally place with them we will introduce you to other lenders on our panel. The lender we introduce you to and available rates will depend upon a number of factors including: the vehicle, your personal circumstances and the likelihood of a lender to accept an application based on information provided.
Lenders typically pay a commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions; some lenders may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you would like to know the amount of any remuneration we have received from the finance provider, please ask us.
