The new Yaris is the first vehicle to be built on the new Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) GA-B modular platform for small cars. With this foundation, you are able to enjoy a radically improved dynamic performance, as well as increased safety and also the design freedom that has already been seen in other TNGA-based Toyota models, such as the new Corolla, C-HR and RAV4.
Alongside this, the Yaris will help you to take on whatever each day may throw at you with ease. This characterful model has been specifically designed for people who lead busy lives and have to deal with congested environments day-to-day (sound familiar?) This means that it will be easy for you to park, be agile around the city and also comfortable on long journeys – or when you happen to be in the car for extended periods of time.
In addition to the new design platform, the Yaris will also come with an all-new 1.5-litre hybrid powertrain option. This will be more responsive, with a 15 per cent increase in combined power from the engine and electric motor, and a 20 per cent increase in fuel efficiency. Toyota have been working on this technology for some time, and it is now in its fourth generation, which has truly been optimised for weight, packaging and efficiency.
If you would like to be one of the first to drive this agile model when it arrives next year, please get in touch with your local Johnsons Toyota team to register your interest.
