At Johnsons, we were excited to launch the Mazda MX-30, the marque’s first fully electric production model, for pre-order earlier this year. And now, buyers of the limited-edition MX-30 First Edition will get an extra perk – Mazda are giving them a free NewMotion home charger wallbox, providing the car is registered by 31st March next year.
Supplied by NewMotion, the home charger will be supplied and installed for free and will easily allow for a full overnight charge. Each MX-30 comes as standard with a Type 2 AC charging cable and a socket for 50kW rapid charging, which can deliver up to 80% battery charge in 36 minutes.
Billed as ‘the electric car for the everyday’, the MX-30 is an all-electric vehicle with a human touch. This all-electric SUV offers drivers a seamless all-electric driving experience – with a 124-mile range, zero emissions and improved economy. The First Edition models, which are limited to 500 units in the UK, are set to arrive in March, and come with a high level of specification, including freestyle doors, a floating centre console, 18-inch alloy wheels, a 7-inch colour touchscreen display and heated front seats.

With the First Edition MX-30 order book now open, customers in the UK can reserve a car for just £800 for delivery early in 2021 and the addition of free home charging installation further adds to the excellent value of this limited-edition model."
Following the arrival of the First Edition models, the full MX-30 range will arrive in UK dealerships in April 2021. Available across three model grades – SE-L Lux, Sport Lux and GT Sport Tech, standard equipment on all MX-30s includes LED headlights with daytime running lights, reversing camera, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Intelligent Speed Assist, navigation and head-up display.

We do not charge you a fee for our services. we will typically receive commission from whichever lender we introduce you to (either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow).
Unless we consider it to be inappropriate given your personal circumstances, for certain vehicles e.g. New, our approach is to introduce you to the lender who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account interest rates, residual valuations (where applicable) and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, or the vehicle is not one that we would normally place with them we will introduce you to other lenders on our panel. The lender we introduce you to and available rates will depend upon a number of factors including: the vehicle, your personal circumstances and the likelihood of a lender to accept an application based on information provided.
Lenders typically pay a commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions; some lenders may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you would like to know the amount of any remuneration we have received from the finance provider, please ask us.
