BusinessCar is the UK's biggest fleet publication, with a circulation of 19,000 among key fleet decision-makers. The shortlist of finalists was determined solely by whole-life costs, with the top five models in each category then assessed by a judging panel of respected industry experts, including well-known road testers, fleet managers and representatives from industry bodies.
The ‘Best Large SUV’ award strengthens the Tarraco’s reputation as an enticing proposition for fleet managers and company car drivers. Director of SEAT UK Richard Harrison commented on the award:
“The Tarraco has been a fundamental part of SEAT’s recent success, creating a platform for growth at a time where most other manufacturers are struggling.
“From early on it was clear that the Tarraco was going to be a favourite for fleets, and for its strong whole-life costs to be recognised by experts in the fleet sector is a real credit to its appeal for businesses.”
Commanding and versatile, the seven-seater Tarraco is perfect for fleets that travel within the city and further afield. With sliding rear seats in the second row and the rear seats folding flat, the Tarraco’s interior adapts to whatever equipment your business requires, expanding to an impressive 1,775 litres.
Other Johnsons brands also performed well at the BusinessCar Awards, with the Ford Fiesta winning the ‘Best Small Car’ award, the ŠKODA Fabia being crowned ‘Best value Car’, the Volvo XC40 being named ‘Best Medium SUV’ and the Hyundai i30 N taking home the new ‘Driver's Choice’ award.
