To keep you and your passengers at your safest, the i20 is fitted with a wealth of innovative features. On the SE models, you can make the most of the lane keep assist (LKA), which comprises on a camera mounted at the top of the windshield to monitor the lane markings and will alert you if your vehicle strays from the lane without signalling.
The electronic stability programme (ESP) and vehicle stability management (VSM) help to ensure optimal braking performance. The ESP automatically distributes optimum brake force to each wheel based on the engine torque and driving circumstances, whereas the VSM enables the vehicle to maintain maximised stability and safety when driving in potential skidding situations.
Compact in Size, Big on Performance
The Hyundai i20 comes with three different engine options, each of which has been designed with the driver in mind. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is extremely robust and delivers either 75PS for S models, or 84PS for the other models in the line-up. The all-new 1.0 T-GDi 100PS petrol turbo engine provides the perfect combination of dynamism and efficiency to deliver a peak torque of 172Nm.
Finally the 1.0 T-GDi 120PS offers more power than the 100PS version at 6,000rpm, while the peak torque measures 172Nm at 1,500 – 4,000 rpm.
