Business Car Awards triumph for Hyundai

Two wins at the Business Car Awards have bolstered Hyundai’s fleet credentials – the latest generation Hyundai TUCSON took home ‘Best Medium SUV’, and the future-facing Hyundai IONIQ 5 was named ‘One to Watch’ by the judging panel members.

This is a particularly impressive feat for the IONIQ 5, which has stood out in a year that has seen plenty of new electric vehicles arrive on the market. Business Car Magazine Editor Martyn Collins said: “The first in a new line of electric cars from Hyundai, the IONIQ 5 makes a major statement, set to put the brand toe-to-toe with the biggest names in the marketplace, including established premium brands.”

What’s more, the newest iteration of the TUCSON offers a whole design revolution that leads the way in progressive design – all chiselled surfaces and dynamic lines to emphasise its rugged SUV roots. The latest technology also resides inside the car, with Bluelink Connected Car Services, smart safety technology and more.

Collins commented: “The new TUCSON stands out on the road with its striking design, and we are confident it will stand out for fleets also with its range of advanced electrified powertrains.”

2021 has been a truly incredible year for Hyundai aside from this impressive success, too – these new models have also collected numerous accolades including DieselCar & EcoCar Magazine’s ‘Car of the Year 2021’ and Carbuyer’s award of the same name.
