the newly developed 8-speed automatic transmission provides enhanced
responsiveness and improved fuel efficiency. It also includes enhanced drive
mode logic, and improves engine response and control when cornering and engine
braking control. Meanwhile, the 6-speed manual transmission offers smooth,
quiet gear-changes, made possible by multi-cone synchronisers, optimised gear

Intelligent four-wheel drive
Hyundai’s HTRAC™ technology offers superior handling and

conditions by actively adjusting the driving power distribution to each of the

Available with 200 PS, the new Santa Fe engines have been enhanced to meet the new Euro 6d-TEMP emission standards – resulting in improved efficiency. The 2.2-litre CRDi diesel engine comes with 200PS and 440 Nm of torque. It is available with front-wheel drive or 4WD drivetrains, with 6-speed manual transmission or an all-new 8-speed automatic transmission. Engineered for enhanced comfort and optimum road handling, the new Santa Fe delivers exceptional steering responsiveness and cornering performance. The front MacPherson strut suspension delivers enhanced stability and ride performance under acceleration and braking. Rear multi-link suspension provides a more comfortable ride, and takes up less space than other systems.
