But the Kona EV has now scooped another high-profile title outside the realm of automotive, after being crowned Which?’s Top Product of 2019. The “game-changing” all-electric crossover charged ahead of competition from a largely tech-focused list, plus a mattress and travel cup. Which? praised the Kona EV for making “one of the strongest cases yet for people to make the switch to emissions-free driving.”
To create their first ‘top 10’ list, the popular consumer group tested 3,500 products launched and reviewed between September 2018 to September 2019 to rank the most outstanding products in terms of performance, innovation or value. The Kona Electric car was named as the standout pick, after impressing Which? researchers with its driving range – it clocked 233 miles on a full charge in the test. The team also found it to be smoother and quieter to drive than the petrol-powered Kona.
Harry Rose, Editor of Which? magazine, commented: “The Kona Electric isn’t just an excellent and affordable EV – it’s an excellent car full stop. That’s what makes it both a game-changer and our pick as the product of 2019.”
With the ethos: ‘We’re at our best when the world doesn’t shape us – we shape it’, the Kona EV is the pinnacle of electric driving. It boasts expressive and sculpted exterior, 395nm of instant torque, plus the full 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating. Discover more about it here: /hyundai/new-kona-electric/
