Bigger than Ever FIND OUT MORE

Bigger than Ever and Just as Comfortable

The LS’ increased dimensions mean that it provides more passenger room than before, while being as comfortable as ever. An opulent, leather-upholstered cabin ensures that every occupant is well-catered for. The driver and front-seat passenger, for instance, are provided with 20-way electrically adjustable positions. Opting for the Luxury grade only enhances the motoring experience, by adding heated and ventilated front seats. Rear-row travellers will enjoy the fact that there’s plenty of room to relax and stretch legs. In fact, everyone on board benefits from the smooth ride that the LS delivers, particularly during long motorway trips. Thanks to the inclusion of two-zone climate control and power-operated front and rear windows, establishing an ideal cabin temperature is never an issue, either.

Technologically Advanced FIND OUT MORE

Technologically Advanced

SmartAccess is Lexus’ keyless system, which allows the owner easy entry into the LS, while a single press of a button starts – or stops – the engine. The vehicle comes with a 12.3-inch colour screen, allowing access to satellite navigation, a 12-speaker sound system and a suite of apps, among other things. LS’ Navigation System provides subscription-free traffic and weather updates, allowing you to make up-to-the-minute changes to your journey in order to get to your destination in the quickest time possible. Apple users benefit from Siri Eyes Free, which allows an iPhone to be connected to the car’s audio system. Voice commands can then be used to control a number of in-car features. AUX, USB and Bluetooth® connectivity is included too, enabling you to plug, play and charge your media devices – and stream audio content from your smartphone. Bluetooth® also enables you to use your mobile hands-free to make and receive calls.

Plenty of Protection FIND OUT MORE

Plenty of Protection

While absolute comfort is assured, so too is driver and passenger safety. The vehicle comes with an array of safety features, all serving the single purpose of delivering optimal protection for everyone on board. For instance, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) is included, which has proven instrumental in significantly reducing rear-end collisions. If an impact does occur, it certainly minimises the severity. AEB works by scanning the road ahead, warning the driver of a potential collision, and automatically applying braking pressure if the driver fails to do so. Intuitive Parking Assist features too, which detects the proximity of obstacles such as low walls or bollards that aren’t always easy to spot by eye.

LUXURY SALOON

An Impressive Saloon Car

The LS is Lexus’ flagship saloon, which is really saying something when one considers that the Japanese marque is renowned for producing supremely comfortable and luxurious automobiles. This gorgeous four-door sedan impresses inside and out with its elegant exterior design and opulent interior. Now in its fifth generation, the LS is 35mm longer than before, and, therefore, provides even more cabin space. There are four trim levels to choose from, too: regular LS, Luxury, F Sport and Premier.

Lexus LS Lifestyle

Head-Turning Good Looks

The Lexus LS’ powerful presence owes much to its subtly contoured body, which sits lower than before. A coupé-like roofline provides the car with its attention-grabbing silhouette, without encroaching on rear-row passenger space at all. The vehicle is fitted with a power-operated moonroof, which allows more natural light into the cabin – and can be opened quickly to make the most of good weather. The front of the car is dominated by Lexus’ eye-catching spindle grille, which is a thing of wonder in itself, not least because it consists of 5000 different planes. The LS is fitted with lightweight and stylish 20-inch alloy wheels as standard. Exterior lighting includes LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and LED fog lamps, each of which delivers optimal illumination when it’s most needed.

Lexus LS Front

Quick Off the Mark

The vehicle is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine, which works with two electric motors to produce a total output of 354bhp. Paired with four-speed automatic transmission, this enables the LS to go from 0-60mph in a little over five seconds. The car can even operate solely using electric power at speeds of up to 87mph, conserving fuel and producing zero CO2 emissions in the process. The LS offers four selectable drive modes, too: EV, ECO, Normal and Sport. Choose EV to drive in battery-powered mode, which is ideal for city motoring. ECO saves energy by reducing air conditioning output and curbing the excesses of acceleration. Normal is perfect for everyday driving. Sport utilises the car’s battery to boost acceleration in tandem with the engine.
