The new Lexus RX will make its debut at the Frankfurt motor show on 15th September.
Inspired by the NX crossover, the new RX has a sharp design, spindle grille in front, new triple L-shaped LED headlights and higher grade versions. The rear end has wrap-around light clusters and a back rear pillar finish that creates a floating roof effect. The fourth generation RX will also adopt Lexus’s new 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine in the RX 200t.
The new RX comes with a smart “no-touch” opening function, a colour head-up display, a 360-degree view monitor and a larger, 12.3-inch central display screen. The interior has been improved, giving more room to rear seat passengers. Ride and handling have also been addressed, making the RX even more car-like to drive.
All versions of the new RX will be equipped as standard with Lexus Safety
System+, providing Pre-Crash Safety, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Sign
Recognition, Lane Keep Assist and Automatic High Beam. These features
significantly improve the chances of avoiding a collision with better driver
assistance, information and alerts.
