Lexus top 2018 What Car? Reliability Survey

During the 2018 What Car? Reliability Survey, 31 brands, 159 models and 10 different vehicle classes were tested to reveal that Lexus has been ranked the UK’s most reliable manufacturer.

Cars were separated into two age brackets: those aged one to four years in one section and those four years and older in another. From here they were all subjected to a critical evaluation by more than 18,000 UK motorists who all answered questions about their personal ownership experiences over the last 12 months.

Ewan Shepherd, Director of Lexus in the UK, said: “We are very proud of the meticulous development and world-class production standards in each of our vehicles. Quality and customer satisfaction are at the heart of the Lexus offer, and it’s great to hear our customers are really feeling the benefit of that.”

Once all of the categories and factors had been taken into consideration, Lexus was revealed to be the most dependable brand for long-term ownership. This is led by the trusty Lexus CT hybrid, a firm favourite, and truly classic hatchback from the manufacturer.

This stylish model will easily enhance every outing. Whether you’re taking on the demands of the busy city streets or are venturing out on the open road, you’ll be sure to do so in style in the Lexus CT. Its smart and sophisticated outlook ensures that you’ll always be able to turn heads for the right reasons.

Not only this, but its impressive fuel efficiency has further helped this model’s desirability by remaining as eco-friendly as possible while still delivering the best performance. Its 1.8-litre 134bhp petrol-hybrid engine produces 142Nm of torque, 0-60mph in approximately 10 seconds and a top speed of 112mph.
