Fiat has released their first docufilm to celebrate the release of the stunning New 500. Three 500 ‘One-offs’ were created together with three iconic Italian brands; Armani, Bvlgari and Kartell. The film, named ‘One-Shot’ takes the viewer on a six-month journey detailing how the three beautiful cars were created, from the first encounters between Fiat and design powerhouses in Turin, all the way to the launch in Milan earlier this year.
“You never get a second chance to make a first impression,” says Oliver François, President of Fiat Brand Global and FCA Chief Marketing Officer to open the film, going on to explain how this new release should be considered a milestone in the brand’s history.
François, who led the ‘One-off’ project, narrates the film and guides viewers through the relentless succession of meetings and processes that highlight the teamwork and affinity between designers from different fields collaborating towards one project – the result, a unique interpretation of the New 500 alongside the very best of ‘Made in Italy’.
From Turin to Milan, the film offers exclusive looks into not just Fiat’s design process, but the processes of renowned Italian design houses, too. At the launch of the One-Offs in Milan, it was also announced that the Fiat 500 has been confirmed as an ‘Italian Icon and Honorary Member’ of the Altagamma Foundation, bringing together the best of Italy’s companies to promote the epitome of the country’s excellence around the world.
