Although based on the van of the same name, the Doblò Combi offers a decidedly car-like motoring experience, which means it’s a lot of fun to drive. It’s also super-spacious and very comfortable, making it ideal for journeys long and short. There are plenty of on-board features with which to pass the time, such as an audio system that includes DAB radio and USB connectivity. Whether you’re tuning in to your favourite radio station or plugging-and-playing your compatible device, you’ll have plenty of listening options. You’ll also be able to mirror your smartphone via the vehicle’s seven-inch touchscreen. This is thanks to the inclusion of Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, which makes it safe and simple to access your phone while on the move.

The Fiat Doblò Combi is packed with a range of protective features that offer peace of mind wherever you go. For instance, Traction+ overcomes the issues presented by problematic and slippery surfaces. Whenever a loss of traction is detected, it minimises skidding by applying brake pressure – before delivering torque to whichever wheel can deliver the best traction at any given moment. Other standard-issue safety features include twin front airbags, ISOFIX child seat fixtures, Electronic Stability Control and Hill Holder, the latter of which prevents uncontrolled rolling during a hill start.

The vehicle is fitted with a hard-working Multijet diesel drivetrain that delivers a smooth motoring experience while maximising efficiency. There are three engines to choose from, offering outputs of 89bhp, 104bhp and 118bhp. You’ll be pleased to know that, regardless of which one is installed, the Doblò Combi returns up to 48.7mpg and produces CO₂ emissions from 152g/km. Furthermore, all versions are Euro 6d-compliant and come with a fuel-saving Start-Stop system. This automated technology switches off the engine whenever the vehicle comes to a natural stop – and turns it back on again when it’s time to go.

The Doblò Cargo is available with a choice of three Multijet diesel engines that are designed to deliver impetus and efficiency in equal measure. The only difference is the power outputs they produce: 89bhp, 104bhp and 118bhp, allowing you to select the one that best matches your day-to-day requirements. Naturally, the 118bhp engine is the most potent, offering a maximum speed of 109mph. Nevertheless, whichever drivetrain you choose, it’s Euro 6D compliant and returns up to 50.4mpg while producing CO₂emissions from 147g/km. Furthermore, all engines feature fuel-saving Start-Stop technology.
