Joined the Motor Industry in 2007 from Retail Menswear Sales, Started career at Toyota as a Sales Exec Role working my way to Retail Management with an Industry Accreditation from Nottingham University For Retail Management with Toyota up until 2013. Moving over to Seat as Retail Manager in 2013 for 6 years.

Joined Johnsons Group in 2018 at VW Johnsons Sutton, over to VW Birmingham 12 months later for career progression and got promoted to Retail Manager in the VW Bullring Store September 2021. After the closure of VW Bullring in Feb 2022, I moved our to the Skoda Division to a new challenge here at Burntwood Skoda.

I have spent over 20 years in the automotive industry and started out as a trainee sales executive with Fiat in 2002, having also held various positions with both Mercedes and Volkswagen. Hi I’m Rhys and I’ve been with Johnsons since December 2021.

I’ve been selling cars for 5 years and working for Skoda for 3 of those. I love delivering a great customer experience and going the extra mile.

My favourite Skoda is the Scala because of its sporty design. I’m a real petrolhead and enjoy Motorsports in my spare time along with catching the latest films at the cinema!

Working for Skoda for over a decade means that the brand is very close to my heart. During this time I’ve had the pleasure to serve generations of loyal Skoda customers, some of whom we still have the privilege to deal with today.

Paul Twigg - Brand Manager

I have worked for the Volkswagen group for over 31 years and the last 23 years have been for Skoda here in Liverpool. If you cut me I bleed green “Skoda” blood.

The biggest love of my job is the people I work with the customers I meet every day, some have become very good friends and customers for over 20 years.

Outside of work my loves are holidays and golf, if I’m lucky and my wife lets me then I combine the two !

Alex Wallace  - Sales Executive

I joined Johnson’s ŠKODA Liverpool in January 2024 as a Sales Trainee, bringing with me seven years of experience in the motor trade. I started in administration before switching to building cars, which deepened my understanding of the industry. I wanted to combine my love for cars with my passion for connecting with people to help them find their perfect new vehicle. Moved from the Emerald Isle over ten years ago, spent my first eight years working in racing and rallying. The majority of my experience is with Historic Race Cars.
