Stay connected and drive safe with this clever feature designed to enhance your driving experience. You can select extras separately or as part of a package, such as the Ford B-Max Titanium X Navigator package. With steering wheel mounted controls and a well-designed cockpit, you can have all this and more at your fingertips.

Safe Handling FIND OUT MORE

Safe Handling

With intelligent Active City Stop, the B-Max detects slow moving traffic and automatically applies the brakes, slowing you down in ample time. New and innovative power steering is also available with the Ford B-Max, helping to make your drive even more comfortable. The B-Max's electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) system automatically adjusts to the conditions and your driving style to provide the right handling for the situation. What that means is that the B-Max will firm up the steering when travelling at speed to give you better control, but will make the steering lighter for more agile manoeuvrability at low speeds. Now that is clever.

Space for the Whole Family FIND OUT MORE

Space for the Whole Family

With the B-Max, Ford has brought something fresh and exciting to the market; a small MPV that manages to marry space and practicality with the verve and style of a supermini. It's a perfect match, creating a fun and funky city car that can also carry some of the larger loads that life sometimes throws our way. The removal of the B-Pillar means that the B-Max really does maximise its internal space, whilst the choice of engines, smooth ride, and sharp handling ensures that driving a Ford B-Max is as fun and effortless as a much smaller car. In short, it might just be the perfect family car.

Expressive Design

Choose your Partner

The B-Max may be a sizeable car on the inside, but it shares some of its more playful and chic design elements with Ford's much smaller city cars, such as the Fiesta. The hexagonal grille that has become something of a Ford trademark is immediately evident, whilst sweeping lines draw the eye effortlessly towards the wraparound rear light clusters. A choice of four different trim levels are available: Studio, Zetec, Titanium and Titanium X. Each trim comes with a different set of extras and design touches, but whichever you choose, you are guaranteed a generous range of equipment. Handy features like powered mirrors and electric windows come as standard on the entry level trim.Step up a level to the Zetec, and you'll get alloy-wheels, a heated windscreen and air conditioning. The Titanium meanwhile comes with cruise control, climate control and automated headlamps, whilst the Titanium X, the top of the range, adds a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery and keyless entry on top of everything else.

Engines for Everyone

The B-MAX has a wide choice of engines. The Studio trim offers Ford's reliable, 89bhp, 1.4-litre petrol engine. There's also a beefier 1.6-litre available with 104bhp, and it’s the only unit to use Ford's exceptional six-speed Powershift twin-clutch gearbox. Diesel fans can choose the 1.5 TDCi engine with either 73bhp or 93bhp, but whichever you choose you get an emission figure of 98g/km of CO2 and a combined mileage of approximately 74mpg. Speaking of economy, there's also the choice of Ford's award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine with either 99bhp or 123bhp. The larger engine manages to be even friendlier to the environment thanks to a start-stop engine.

Big and Beautiful

The B-Max is a family car that combines fun and function to brilliant effect. What really makes the B-Max leap out from the competition is its way of using intelligent design to free up even more space inside. The big focal point is the sliding doors which, along with the absence of a B-Pillar mean that it's never been easier to access the cavernous interior. It's especially easy to lean in and attach child seats without the usual strain, hassle, and contortions. The B-Max seats five with a boot size that measures in at 318-litres. If, however, you fold the back seats completely flat then you'll get an absolutely huge 1,386-litres in the back.
