Job Title: Apprentice Accounts Assistant

Location: Johnsons Volkswagen, Birmingham

Employment Type: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Salary: From £11,282.40 - £21,973.60 based on a 40 hour week and dependent on the age of the successful candidate

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and data entry
• Prepare financial reports, invoices, and statements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial processes
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies

Requirements:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Eagerness to learn and develop accounting knowledge and skills
