We require a Used Car Controller of the highest calibre to join our busy Sales department at our Volkswagen Dealership in Birmingham. We offer a superb opportunity to the right person who is able to demonstrate an aptitude to learn and a keenness to develop a rewarding career within the Automotive industry.

You will be a professional individual with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service to all customers whether it be face to face or over the telephone.

Responsibilities

Supporting the General Sales Manager in the development and growth of the business you are to;

  • You must be a great people motivator, lead by example and inspire your team to achieve outstanding sales results whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Motivate the team to ensure that their activity levels deliver the results that are expected.
  • When required, create customer offers for your colleagues, ensuring the best possible outcome for both the customer and the business.
  • Have an in depth knowledge of the manufacturers policies to ensure our opportunities are maximised.
  • Help ensure our used car sales platforms are displayed to their very best at all times,
  • Follow operational standards, and adhere to Johnsons policies and processes.
  • Consistently offer our customers a 5 star service
  • Purchasing the correct profile of stock through our Group sites & Managers
  • Used car pricing
  • Controlling profit and keeping expenses in line with budget
  • General site management Display, Standards, compliance
  • Online advertising accurate pricing, photos and descriptions
  • Working together with internal department through Team Work

The ideal candidate will be sales and target driven and will achieve business objectives including sales volumes, profitability, employee satisfaction and loyalty levels and maintain the culture of excellent customer service. You may be an experienced Used Car Sales Controller seeking a new challenge or a Sales Executive in a dealership looking for your first step into a management role- what is most important is your positive attitude and ability to inspire your team.
