We are very happy to announce that Richard Godfrey is the latest member of the Johnsons Volkswagen team to receive his Gold Pin for his dedication and service to the brand.
He was presented with this prestigious award at a special ceremony at the Savoy Hotel in London on Saturday 9th
February 2019. This event was hosted by Patrick McGillycuddy, Head of
Sales Operations, and Kevin Rendell, Head of Service and Parts.
The Gold Pin, awarded by Volkswagen’s parent company, Volkswagen AG, is an exclusive award that recognises both dedication and service to the brand. It started back in 1967 and, since its creation, nearly 1,200 people have been chosen to receive them in the UK. There were only nine nominations given in the UK for the 2018 period, and Richard was lucky enough to be recognised amongst these.
We would like to not only congratulate Richard for all of his hard work, but also thank him for his continued hard work in ensuring all of our customers have the best possible experience every time they visit the showroom.
