Ashley Gibson - Franchise Manager
Ashley Gibson became Franchise Manager at Johnsons Volkswagen in 2014, having joined the motor trade over 14 years prior to that with Hartwell’s Rover through their graduate scheme.At the start, it was more about driving, cleaning and all the odd jobs, but Ashley's passion and potential was clear for all to see and he quickly moved into a Sales Executive role at Birmingham Volkswagen in 2001.
Following the takeover of Birmingham Volkswagen by Johnsons in 2004, Ashley quickly started moving through the ranks: New Car Sales Manager to Brand Manager all by the age of 27, and from 2006 to 2014, Ashley worked across our Birmingham, Tamworth and Solihull locations.
His knowledge, experience and familiarity with both Johnsons and Volkswagen made him the ideal candidate to take the franchise further and he has been working tirelessly as Franchise Manager ever since, pushing the boundaries to excel in every aspect ensuring that the Johnsons Volkswagen put customer service at the forefront of everything they do.
