What is Drive Now, Pay Later+?
Drive Now, Pay Later+ is a service designed to help ease the financial burden of unexpected costs when your car undergoes a service, MOT test or a vehicle health check. For customers who have budgeted for the initial work, the additional costs can strain finances and therefore delay important repairs. EMaC helps by allowing customers to spread the cost of these repairs over a three-month period, ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy and drivers can stay safe on the road.
How do the payments work?
Customers are required to pay 25% of the invoice on the day. After this, the rest of the cost is spread over three equal monthly payments taken from the same debit card. This provides customers with the flexibility to manage finances effectively, ensuring that the maintenance or repair work needed is taken care of without the stress of a large, upfront payment.
Credit checks
EMaC’s Drive Now, Pay Later+ plan accepts over 99% of customers after conducting a credit check. The company checks that the customer has enough to cover the 25% deposit and that the address on the card is the same as the one the plan is being applied to.

The lender we introduce you to and available rates will depend upon a number of factors including: the vehicle, your personal circumstances and the likelihood of a lender to accept an application based on information provided.
Lenders typically pay a commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions; some lenders may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you would like to know the amount of any remuneration we have received from the finance provider, please ask us.
