The German brand celebrates 40 years of the Golf GTI at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Released in 1976, the iconic model secured a great status and now the latest generation is being celebrated with the special edition Golf GTI Clubsport S. The vehicle has a special Nurburgring setting that contributes towards a better adaptive chassis control, engine, steering and sound to suit the acclaimed road circuit. The production run is only for 400 models and only 150 will be sold in UK.
Another model that the motorsport followers will be pleased to see is the Polo R WRC one, which has influenced the FIA World Rally Championship since its debut in 2013. The vehicle has a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine and permanent four-wheel drive.
Volkswagen will be displaying a range of models at the Goodwood festival of Speed and among these will be the brand new Tiguan and Golf GTI Mk3.
